Spring is here and I am SO ready to rock my soft nude shades for the season. I like to keep it simple, fresh, chic, and serve a neutral and subtle glow. Vacation time is approaching, wedding season is here, and there is an abundance festivals, mixers, shows, and concerts to attend. Certainly, you have your ideal outfits prepared, but what about your makeup? This post is to give you some ideas for an effortless, glowed-out, gentle look. **PSA: Calling all you beautiful people out there who are looking to #SlaySpring, this one is for YOU!**
Don’t get me wrong. I love to incorporate different colors in my Spring makeup routine; however, for the most part, I stick to the basics. I believe you can never go wrong with glowing skin and neutral lips. It’s appropriate for any occasion or event.
- NYX Born to Illuminate Liquid Illuminator – Gleam
- Benefit Sun Beam Highlighter (my personal all time favorite highlighter)
- Elf Baked Highlighter – Moonlight Pearls
- Milani Brillant Shine Lip Gloss – Bare Secret
- NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream – London (one of my staple lip products)
In this photo I used all of the products listed, but I did not get too wild with the highlighter (sometimes I look like a disco ball lol). Depending on how I feel and where I am going, I will layer my highlighters (sounds obsessive, but the results are beautiful). Since I went to work that day I wanted to go for a soft look.
OPI Nail Lacquer – Tickle My France-y
I absolutely love this polish. It is the perfect neutral go-to color for me. Surely, this color will be a staple in my collection.
What are your beauty essentials for spring?
With love,
Chasity
